Shading a Face From The Side [LIVE Demo] [Part 2]

This light and shadow drawing tutorial will teach you how to draw shadows on a face! It covers lighting and shadowing a face and the basic shadow patterns. In Part 2 I continue what I started in Part 1, but this time I talk about lighting from the side at different angles. Once again, you'll learn which parts of the face are usually in shadow, which features throw cast shadows and where they cast them. I create several face shadow drawings for to illustrate the process. Keep in mind that these are just the basics and there's a lot more going on with halftones and reflected light.
